Pompei is crumbling

Pompei is perhaps the most important archaeological site in the world.
No other site keeps his remains so perfectly.
But someone is not very concerned with the protection of Pompei. Maybe the Italian government or perhaps the site responsibles.

In November a very important building was collapsed. The armory of the Gladiators (Armeria dei Gladiatori) has crumbled due to infiltration of water. In the following days other smaller crashes has occurred.

The political parts in Italian politics have been attacked on this story. The majority claims to have no responsibilities. 'The funds are sufficient to protect and preserve the site'. The opposition says the opposite.
Bondi, the Italian Minister of Culture, said that the last restoration work on the building was make in 1950. His words were belied by Google Street View: a photo shows a sign near the house where is possible read that works is underway during 2009.

It is sure that Pompei - the most visited archaeological site in the world, a true open-air museum - is in a serious state of decay.
